Citroen Dispatch Review
The Citroen Dispatch van was launched in 2016. This great mid sized van drives more like a car than a van due to Citroen using the same PSA platform as the Peugoet 308 and Citroen C4 Picasso.
The Dispatch van comes in three body lengths, two wheelbases and one roof height.
There are three models in the Citroen Dispatch range, the entry level X through to the well equipped Enterprise Plus model. There is also a six-seater crew van and a nine-seat combi van in the Dispatch range.
The Dispatch van will carry a maximum payload of 1400kg and will effortlessly hold up to three Euro pallets at once.
This versatile van is also capable of towing 2.5 tonnes.
The Dispatch van has a wishbone rear suspension to make the most of the load volume.
The cabin of the Citroen Dispatch is particularly practical as well as comfortable. In total there is 49 litres of storage space in the cabin. There are large door compartments, two glove boxes on the passenger side and an A4 sized handy compartment on top of the dash.
The seats are very comfortable and adjust in all directions ensuring you get the perfect driving position.
Citroen Dispatch vans come in engines sizes ranging from 1.6 litre to 2.0 litre BlueHDi diesels. With power outputs ranging from 95ps to 180ps.
This light commercial vehicle is really economical to run too, ranging from 55.3 mpg through to 46.3 mpg depending on the engine size and driving style.
Citroen have targeted the Dispatch van at the middle to upper end of the van market, with similar vans in its class being the Volkswagen Transporter, Mercedes Vito, Peugeot Expert, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro and Ford Transit Custom.
This fantastic mid sized van is well worth considering if you are in the market for a new van. At Cheshire Vehicle Supplies we always have a great selection of quality used commercial vehicles for sale in Warrington.
