Renault Kangoo Review

The Renault Kangoo van was first introduced into the light commercial vehicle market in 1997.  This compact van was re modeled in 2008 and underwent an upgrade in 2016 so that the diesel engine now meets the Euro 6 emissions standards.  There is also an all electric Kangoo ZE model available now.

The Kangoo van comes in two body lengths, the standard and the maxi and either the Business or the Business+ specification.

This small van is available in three diesel engines, the 75 which is only available in the standard length, the 90 and the 110 which are available in both the standard and the maxi lengths.  Both body lengths are available in the ZE electric van.

The Renault Kangoo maxi also comes in a crew van.

The 75 bhp and 90 bhp models have a five speed gearbox and the 110 bhp has a six speed gearbox.

The Renault Kangoo is a very efficient van to run delivering an impressive 64 - 65 mpg.  There are similar vans out there that deliver similar fuel economy like the Peugeot Partner, Citroen Berlingo, Volkswagen Caddy and the Ford Transit Connect.

The service intervals for the Renault Kangoo van are 24,000 miles or two years on all diesel vehicles.

The standard Kangoo can fit one Euro pallet having a 3 cubic metre volume.  The maxi Kangoo can snuggly fit two Euro pallets having a 4 cubic metre volume.

The passenger seat can be folded flat, enabling the bulkhead to be positioned around the drivers seat allowing 3.5 and 4.6 cubic metres respectively.  The standard Kangoo carries up to 650kgs and the maxi up to 800kgs.

All the Renault Kangoo vans come with a DAB radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.

There is plenty of storage in the cab of the Kangoo and for a compact van it has a roomy feel.

You can understand why the Renault Kangoo van is one of the best selling vans in Europe, in a nutshell it's economical to run and practical.  Here at Cheshire Vehicle Supplies we have a great selection of Renault Kangoo vans and similar used commercial vehicles.
