Renault Trafic Van Review

We have a number of used Renault Trafic vans for sale in Warrington at Cheshire Vehicle Supplies and as one of the best-selling medium vans in the UK, it has a lot of strengths.

There are three main Trafic trim levels: Sport, Business and Business+. The Trafic Formula Edition was also released last year.

Practicality

Renault Trafic vans are popular for carrying cargo or passengers, available as a nine-seater, a crew van and a panel van.

There are four Trafic body variants, with short and long-wheelbase and low and high roof combinations. Maximum load volume is 8.6m3 and payload ranges from 1,079kg to 1,269kg, which isn’t as much as some rivals can cope with, such as the Peugeot Expert, Citroen Dispatch and Ford Transit Custom, but on average, is decent for a mid-size van.

Driving

With a top speed of 95mph and a 0-62mph time of 15.9 seconds, the Renault Trafic does just fine providing you’re not planning on speeding around in it. Its sharp steering and smooth engines makes it a pleasure to drive and when travelling at high speeds the van is quiet.

Interior

The Renault Trafic has an impressive 90 litres of storage space in the cab, with 14 compartments. You may feel like you are in a Renault car, as the design borrows elements from models including the Clio, which gives the van interior an appealing look.

The layout gives the driver plenty of space and the seats are comfortable. DAB radio and Bluetooth, as well as numerous other technical features are included as standard and there are more advanced equipment options with other models.

Verdict

Renault Trafic vans are hugely popular, and it is not difficult to see why. They are comfortable on long drives and well equipped. Buying a brand-new model from Renault would cost you more than £20,000, but we have used Renault Trafic vans for sale in Warrington at a small fraction of that price. View our current range here!
