Typically, the more owners a van has had, the older it is and the higher its mileage. These factors give an indication of the amount of wear and tear the van will have suffered. With commercial vehicles, the number of miles covered can increase dramatically with each additional owner, so you can expect one-owner vans to be in relatively good condition.

With the same owner, maintenance and driving experience will have been constant, but if a van has had several drivers in the past, the vehicle will have been treated differently.
